ZoneLabs adds Antivirus protection to firewall offering

ZoneLabs has updated its desktop firewall software and introduced a new package that features built in Antivirus, web filtering and instant message security.

The new package - Zone Alarms Security Suite is aimed at small business and home users offering protection from viruses as well as protection using its popular firewall service.

The company has boosted its offering from three to five packages and still offers the basic ZoneAlarm for free. Zone Alarms Security Suite will cost £29.95, £20 cheaper than Symantec's Norton Internet Security 2004, its nearest competitor. Those looking for the middle road can opt for ZoneAlarms with Antivirus for £9.95
