Dell launch new Inspiron 640M

new, lightweight, affordable, mobile notebook launched

Dell today announced the launch of a new, lightweight, affordable, mobile notebook that offers a 14.1-inch widescreen display and long battery life.

The Inspiron 640M comes armed with dual-core processors and 8.5 hours of battery life and is available now in Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) priced from £649 including VAT and delivery.

Further specifications of the Inspiron 640M include Intel Core Duo Processors, integrated internal Wi-Fi (802.11b or 802.11 a/b/g) and Bluetooth, up to 2 GB memory, up to 80GB hard drive and the choice of DVD/CD-RW, DVD+/-RW drives.

Ports include four USB 2.0 ports, one S-Video Out, one IEE1394 port, one ExpressCard Slot, Hi-Def audio support, one 5-1 flash memory card reader.
