AKG offers Scholarship of Sound

A week at a top AKG studio in Berlin on offer to budding music producers

13 May 2010 14:18 GMT / By Paul Lamkin

Austrian acoustic giant AKG is offering ten lucky music producers the chance to spend a week at its studio in Berlin where they'll receive expert tutelage and guidance from the pros.

The competition, called the Scholarship of Sound, is open for students and existing music producers. The ten winners will get return flights to Berlin, accommodation for the week, AKG sound experts learning sessions, tutoring sessions with top audio engineers, mentoring sessions with renowned DJs and producers and access to workshops hosted in with music tech companies. Plus they'll get a bit of free time to check out the cultural side of Berlin.

Not a bad prize and you've got to be in it to win it, as someone once said, sometime, we think. Get in it by entering here. Do it by midnight on June 13th and good luck.
