Asda has bought 35,000 Alcatel OT222 handsets and is flogging them off at a 40% discount, meaning you can pick up the pay-as-you-go phone on Orange for just £9.
Not only this, but Asda is also throwing in £10 call credit so in effect (if you were planning on buying a phone anyway) you'll be up £1 on the deal. On average the £10 credit should give around 50 texts and 33.5 minutes of calls on the basis of 15p per minute and 10p per text.
Asda’s Mobile phone buyer, Spencer Brown commented, “It’s not often you get something for nothing or even get given £1 back when you actually spend money. The beauty of this deal means that customers and even parents can control exactly what they spend on phone calls and texts without splashing out on an expensive handset or committing to a fixed contract tariff".
As you can probably guess the deal is for a limited time, as the offer will only continue whilst stocks last. If you fancy taking a look click through on this link for the Alcatel OT222.
