Even The Sims get election fever

Not only has the nation been whipped into a fever over the general election, but the wee people that live inside games consoles have too.

To celebrate the imminent launch of The Sims 3 on console, Electronic Arts has released some mock-up in-game shots of the leaders of the three main parties, for nothing more than a giggle. The Sim of Gordon Brown has even been caught up in his own Bigots-gate, it seems.

Of course, come Friday, we'll all be electioned-out, but for now, enjoy a wee bit of fun before the main event.

The Sims 3 comes to PS3, Xbox 360, Wii and Nintendo DS in autumn.
