Amazon takes wish-lists universal. Software, Online, Amazon, Gifts 0

26 April 2010 15:16 GMT / By Duncan Geere

Amazon has extended its wish-list feature out of the wall garden that it currently operates in to extend to the entirety of the web, renaming it the Amazon Universal Wish List.

It works pretty much as the old "Add to wish-list" button did, except that webmasters are being invited to add their own button to their webstores so that people can use it. If your favourite site doesn't have it, though, then you can drag a link to your bookmarks bar to use in its place on any site.

Then when Christmas or your birthday rolls around, you don't have to worry about thinking up things for your aunties and uncles to send you - you just link them to your wishlist and then happily await your gifts when the special day arrives.
