Problem due to a camera incompatibility

HTC Legend's missing apps bug fixed

22 April 2010 14:28 GMT / By Duncan Geere

HTC Legend owners in Europe have been missing a few applications since the handset was launched - Twidroid, Layar, MySpace Mobile, Barcode Scanner, Google Goggles, FXCamera and a handful more.

What common factor can you see shared between all those apps? That's right - they use the device's camera. Up until now, an incompatibility with the camera had prevented Legend owners from downloading those apps. But don't fret - HTC has rolled out an OTA update that should make everything okay again.

The update will be arriving to your handset in the not-too-distant future, so keep an eye out. When it lands, you'll be able to enjoy the same apps as everyone else. And everybody's happy. Get back to your lives, citizens.
