Toy racing car manufacturer Scalextric has just dropped us some good news for any fans of Disney-Pixar's Toy Story franchise. It's planning a 1:64 scale set based on the movies.
The cars in the set feature Buzz Lightyear and Woody the Cowboy, recreating the scene in the first movie where they use remote control cars to catch up with the van taking the other toys to the new house. The track features other characters, too, including Sid the T-Rex and Slink the dog.
Scalextric's Paul Chandler told Pocket-lint: "The toy story films are a favourite with both adults and children and we are very excited to be bringing this landmark film to life in our Disney-Pixar Toy Story micro set". The set will cost £50, and will be available coinciding with the release of Toy Story 3 in cinemas on 23 July 2010.
