Alongside the Dell Lightning, a whole host of other mobile devices have leaked out of Dell. On the Android front, there's the Dell Thunder, Dell Smoke and Dell Flash. They run from high-end to mid-range.

The Thunder looks to be essentially the Lightning with Android instead of Windows Phone 7 and no sliding QWERTY. It has a 4.1-inch WVGA OLED display, but other than that we don't have any more firm specs, other than the suggestion of an 8-megapixel camera and Flash 10.1 being accessible.

On top of the stock Android build, however, is Dell's heavily customised "Stage" UI. We'll let you make up your own mind on whether you like the look of it or not, but it promises Facebook and Twitter functionality, as well as using Swype as a touchscreen keyboard replacement. It's also apparently got an integrated Hulu app, which will be interesting to see in action. It's due in Q4.

The Smoke is next, and it looks weird. Dell calls it "non-conforming". It's a tall and thin candybar, with a QWERTY keyboard below the 2.8-inch QVGA display, just like the Palm Pixi. It's running Android 2.2 with the Stage UI, and inside there's an 800MHz Qualcomm CPU, a 5-megapixel camera, HSPA, microSD capabilities, Bluetooth 2.1, and noise cancelling mics. It promises to be just 12mm thick, and is due in Q2 2011.

Lastly, the Flash is probably the least exciting of the three. No word whether it's carrying Adobe's Flash Player 10.1, but it does have Android 2.2 and the aforementioned Stage UI, as well as an 800MHz Qualcomm CPU, a 5-megapixel autofocus camera, HSPA, microSD capabilities, Bluetooth 3.0, and noise cancelling mics. The LCD display is 3.5 inches across, and runs at WVGA resolution. It's due in Q1 2011.

It's worth noting that there's no pricing announced for any of these and - more importantly - no confirmation that they'll be appearing outside of the USA, at least initially. While they contain 3G radios that can cope with European networks, it's not out of the bounds of possibility that they might stay US-only. That would make us sad pandas.
