Sanyo has added another model to its range of camcorders, launching the Xacti VPC-SH1. It's another dual-camera choice, offering the ability to shoot either 1080i HD video footage or 10-megapixel stills, depending on your needs.
Theres a 30x zoom lens, for getting up close and personal with wildlife, plants, or someone you're stalking, and there's also a 35mm wide-angle lens, if you prefer to live a little zoomed out. What's most impressive, however, is the size and weight - 203g and 43mm thick. While that's not quite pocket-sized, it's not a million miles off.
It's compatible with Eye-Fi cards, comes with two record buttons, and offers various software goodies like "Face Chase" tech, colour targeting and a digital image stabiliser. It records in MP4 format, and comes in red and black. It should be available in the UK almost immediately.
