T-Jays earphones announced by Jays

14 April 2010 16:22 GMT / By Duncan Geere

Fresh off the release of the A-Jays headphones, Swedish manufacturer Jays Headphones is back and thirsty for more, and has announced a second series of earbuds, the T-Jays, aimed at a slightly sportier audience than the A-Jays.

They have a slightly bigger driver than their older brother, coming in at 10mm rather than 8.6mm. They also offer a more flexible and compact design, with a strong kevlar extension cable, that should be less likely to break than a regular pair of headphones might. Thanks to their angled design, they can also be worn inside a helmet.

Like the A-Jays, they come in three variants with different accessories, build and audio qualities, and price points. There's 1, 2 and 3 versions, starting low-end and getting higher. There's a full breakdown of the differences between each on the Jays website.

If you'd like a pair, they'll set you back $79, $89 and $99, depending on which version you'd like. No UK prices just yet, but when we hear something on that front we'll let you know.
