Big redesign coming to Twitter

Company's creative director tweets out a sample

Twitter will be getting a facelift some time sooner than you think. The beans have been spilt, or Dribbbled as it happened, by the company's creative director, Doug Bowman.

All that's been revealed so far is the image above which gives users a few more stats to enjoy, including a couple of frighteners that are the number of days you've spent on Twitter and the number of tweets you give on average each 24 hours.

On top of that, the menus have a much neater appearances rather than the simple nav bar of links that's beginning to look a little on the 00s side.

It's not necessarily the finished article, though. As Bowman said on Dribbble, a site for designers and developers to share ideas:

"Working on what may end up a significant redesign. Not final yet. What we can show without giving away the farm".

We'll let you know when we get a better look at the rest of the cows and meadows.
