Lenovo has announced a new netbook in the US called the IdeaPad S10-3s on Wednesday that will cost around $380.

The new model, which is an update to the S10-3s will come with the same chiclet keyboard, but a smoother curvy design hoping to appeal to those more consumery types out there.

Specs include an Intel Atom N470 processor and 10.1-inch 16:9 widescreen high-def LED backlight display (1280 x 720/1024 x 600)

Intel GMA 3150 integrated graphics, up to 2GB DDR2 DRAM, running at 533MHz, a 160/250/320GB HDD or 16/32GB SSD drive and the usual array of connectivity features like Bluetooth, Ethernet and Wi-Fi as well as a 3G SIM slot for good measure.

Connections include three USB 2.0, a 5-in-1 card reader (SD/MMC/MS/MS pro/XD), headphones, mic, and VGA out socket.

Lenovo in the UK has told Pocket-lint it is evaluating whether or not to bring it to the UK.

We will keep you posted.
