So the iPad has had its 15 minutes, well that's according to HP, who has released yet another teaser video for its tablet, the HP Slate.

First debuted at CES in January, the company has left it to its chief technology officer, Phil McKinney, to show off yet more elements of the new device due out later this year.

What does the video tell us?

That the Slate is going to be focused on multimedia, that it will come with a USB socket, HDMI connector, an SD card reader and that it will have a forward and rear facing camera to take pictures and do video conferencing via Skype on the go.

It will also have App support with icons making an appearance including RealPlayer, Firefox, Skype and first party apps.

If that wasn't enough to whet your appetite, it looks to have, as you might expect from HP, built-in Snapfish (the company's photo publishing software), flickr and Facebook support.

"Up to now, we’ve given you only tiny glimpses of the HP slate device coming out later this year", says McKinney.

That's what HP wants us to know, but that hasn't stopped Engadget obtaining a slide giving even more details including pricing.

According to the document, the HP Slate will feature an 8.9-inch display (compared to the iPad's 9.7-inch offering), a 1.6Ghz Atom Menlow Z530 processor, 32GB or 64GB of storage that runs Windows 7 Home Premium edition with a HP Touch optimized UI similar to its all-in-one models.

It will cost, according to the Powerpoint sheet, $549 - $599 when it launches.

We will keep you posted.
