Motorola Milestone 2.1 update spreading across Europe

While HTC Hero owners wait patiently for their 2.1 update, Motorola is busy rolling out the 2.1 update for the Motorola Milestone in the UK and the rest of Europe.

"The Milestone 2.1 upgrade commenced in France this week and will roll out across Germany, Italy and UK between now and mid April", a spokesperson for the company told Pocket-lint after we asked when the update would be coming.

The new 2.1 version will add several enhancements that Nexus One, and HTC Desire users (if they've got them yet) are enjoying things like live wallpapers, up to 9 home screens, added security for exchange server users and much more.

No exact date as such, but expect an update alert very shortly.
