T-Mobile HTC Desire goes on sale

T-Mobile in the UK has confirmed that it has started shipping HTC Desire handsets pre-ordered by customers:

"Good news! There is no delay to HTC Desire, stock in, orders dispatched from today!" the company said via Twitter.

The news follows reports that T-Mobile HTC Desire would go on sale 29 March and that the UK operator would be one of the first to ship the device out to customers.

Vodafone, Orange and O2 have all told Pocket-lint that they hope to offer their customers the phones shortly following further network tests.
