iFixit compares iPhone 3GS to Nexus One

25 March 2010 16:27 GMT / By Duncan Geere

Apple hardware site iFixit has posted an interesting pictorial comparison infographic of the iPhone 3GS and Google's Nexus One.

It examines both handsets' vital specs and details some of the costs of ownership associated with each. From our reading, it looks like the Nexus One has the edge, with its better processor, RAM, 3G battery life, cost of ownership, battery replacement procedure and display, but the iPhone takes the crown in the graphics, 2G battery life, touchscreen quality and repair cost departments.

However, the comparison doesn't take into account the almighty App Store, and iPhone's ease-of-use, or the Nexus One's ability to multitask. It's hardware-only. You can see the iFixit comparison on the iFixit site. Let us know who you reckon comes out on top in the assessment in the comments below.
