It appears that the Spanish site Clipset has revealed both pricing and some rough dates for HP's new Slate device, which was first announced at CES.
Pricing has been set at the 400 euro ($550) mark, which compared to the iPad's now confirmed $499 price point, for its most basic model, seems competitively priced. However we can expect a range of slates from HP in the region of 6 to 10 inches, so the price above will no doubt vary depending on model.
In terms of specs, Engadget reports that the HP Slate will be getting an Intel Atom processor, back-mounted webcam, USB connectivity and memory card reader, as well as the already established Adobe Flash.
It is also reported that folks in the US can expect a June launch, whilst Europeans should be able to get their hands on the tablet device "before September".
As ever we'll have our ears as close to the ground as feasibly possible in order to bring you any updates, so in the meantime you can take a look at our previously posted videos of the device and dream of what might be.
