After the success of last year's award winning short film, the Dark Knight-inspired Carousel, Philips has let slip a teaser trailer of its Parallel Lines series as made in conjunction with Ridley Scott Associates.

The project set five top directors up against one another to make five different films each around the same theme, and this clip now tells us what that subject matter was as indicated by the one line of dialogue each was allowed to contain - "It's a unicorn".

All five films go live on 8 April over five separate days and you can watch them on the Philips Cinema site as well as following all the build up on Facebook.

The Parallel Lines series is the continuation of Philips' move towards the cinema after the launch of the Cinema 21:9 TV range and the sponsorship of the BAFTA Awards.
