There's been no word, official or otherwise, from Microsoft as to whether its new mobile OS, Windows Phone 7 Series, would even be plausible within a tablet chassis, but that hasn't stopped one fan making it so in a concept video.
Freelance designer Umang Dokey's design boasts an "8-inch touchscreen, two web cams for 3D video calling, a built-in stand which doubles up as a keyboard and two analogue joysticks on the back for gaming", says phone site Recombu, who found the concept.
The "panoramic" user interface of the Microsoft mobile OS would be perfect for a bigger screen, whilst the move could give Microsoft a foothold into the tablet space, instead of confusing matters with its additional OS; expected in the form of the Microsoft Courier concept which is currently doing the rumour rounds at the moment.
Yes, it's a fantasy. But would you buy it?
