Big companies always have big visions for what the future might bring and here is Microsoft's.

Released some time ago, the company believes that we'll all be talking to each other around the world via data connections presumably via the cloud.

While that doesn't stop us still getting on a plane for that round the world trip, we will be using touch and wonderful info-graphics a lot more.

Of course augmented reality is going to be big.

Strangely, the future, according to Microsoft doesn't have anyone in it, something that the parody video below wonderfully points out.

Will any of these elements featured in this video make it into our lives by 2015? We'll have to wait and see, but judging by the talking we've done with a load of experts for this collection of articles about the year 2015, a lot of them are going to be possible.

Bring on the future.
