Back in February we covered the launch of Groupola.com, a website which attempts to harness the idea of "group buying", in order to give users some decent discounts on good things to "see, eat and buy" in a given area.
As an incentive to sign up, Mark Pearson, the founder of Groupola.com, will be giving away £5 to everyone who signs up or already uses the service, which they'll then be able to spend on offers through the site.
The site reckons that this giveaway should add up to a hefty £5 million, however staying true to offers/giveaways around the globe, the deal is available for a limited time only, finishing at midnight, Wednesday 17 March.
The deals are focused around eight cities in the UK, which include London, Birmingham, Liverpool, Manchester, Brighton, Bristol, Cardiff and Edinburgh in order to "really harness the community saving aspect", although the company offers national deals from time to time.
There's a link here if you want to give Groupola.com a try, and make sure you let us know in the comments if it helps, or has helped, save you some cash.
