Panasonic is expected to launch two new Micro Four Thirds cameras on Sunday 7 March if rumours on the Internet are to be believed.
The new models, the G2 and G10, will be announced at the start of the Focus on Imaging show in Birmingham, UK.
For those who are impatient, the specs have already leaked out early thanks to photorumors.com.
According to the site, both the G2 and G10 will look like the G1 and will come in a more traditional DSLR design, They both seem to feature a 12-megapixel sensor, sporting the Micro Four Thirds technology and a 3-inch screen that folds out for variable angles.
Both models appear to be able to shoot 720p video at 30fps and lack a viewfinder or HDMI connectivity. Images and video will be stored on SD memory card, SDHC memory card, or SDXC memory cards.
We will have full details if Panasonic does launch the new models on Sunday.
We will keep you posted.
