First debuted at CES in Las Vegas at the beginning of January, the new device that touts the "world's smallest, lightest and thinnest Full HD camera" will go on sale in the UK for £249 and be available at the end of the week.

For those who missed the announcement from the world's largest consumer electronics trade show, the dual camera Xacti for 2010 sports dimensions of just 27mm thick and a weight of 142 grams.

It boasts a 10x zoom with a 38mm wide-angle lens, as the name might suggest the Dual Camera can record video in 1920 x 1080 resolution in H.264 and snap up to 8-megapixel still images.
