Boxee has returned to Apple TV claims boxee on its company blog after being ejected in the latest software update.

Those who decide to dabble in the darker side of hacking their Apple TV can pwn your AppleTV following these "super simple instructions," says Boxee.

Boxee announced at CES that it was launching its own set-top box with network router maker D-Link. The Boxee Box promises to bring a huge library of web vids, access to music sites like Pandora and Last.fm as well as Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, Picasa and more.

There's still no word on whether it's coming to countries outside the US, however in the US the unit will come in at under $200 with no monthly fees.
