Deals, offers and innovations

A new website has launched called Groupola.com, which offers anywhere from 50% to 90% off "the best things to do, see, eat and buy".

The website harnesses the idea of "group buying" which the company hopes will result in some decent deals in the eight cities it is launching. The company says the deals will occasionally be national in terms of reach, but mostly regional and city-specific, in order to "really harness the community saving aspect".

If enough people commit to the deal, the company offering it will honour said deal, which will be anything from 50% to 90% off full price.

The company is calling itself the "UK's largest Group Buying Power website" due to the number of cities in which the deals will be available in, namely: London, Birmingham, Liverpool, Manchester, Brighton, Bristol, Cardiff and Edinburgh.

To add a little incentive to the sign-up process Groupola.com is also currently running a competition with the chance to win an Apple iPad. With ten devices up for grabs all you have to do is sign-up to its email letter, which details the offers, and keep your fingers crossed.
