LG Windows Phone 7 Series handset in September?

Chinese whispers

LG could be the first out of the gate with a Windows Phone 7 Series handset as early as September according to sources in Hong Kong.

Engadget Chinese is reporting that an LG is saying a new handset running on the newly announced Microsoft mobile OS is expected sometime between September and November this year.

Microsoft's official line to date has been "The Holidays" so while it fits in with that timeline an actual date is still anyone's guess.

LG in the UK told us they "can't confirm any timings for the launch of the phone".
