2K games has announced that the first set of downloadable content for Bioshock 2 - the Sinclair Solutions Test Pack - will be emerging from the briny depths in March. But if you haven't yet finished the single-player for the game then don't panic - it's focused primarily on the multiplayer portion.
For starters, there's a rank increase up to 50, complete with rank rewards. New playable characters have been added - Louie McGraff and Oscar Calraca - and there's 20 new trials to complete. A third upgrade has been provided for each weapon, and there's five additional masks. Some of that lot, however, is only available to players above level 40.
If you're more a fan of the single-player part of the game, then you might also like to know that 2K has some extra content planned for there too. The company is promising "more narrative, new tools and new challenges that extend the lore and fiction of the failed Utopia under the sea".
The DLC will cost 400 Microsoft Points to buy on Xbox 360 or on Games For Windows Live. On the PS3, it'll cost £3.19 on the Playstation Network.
