TomTom makes some cracking products and a very polished LIVE service to go with them, however the only trouble is that this requires you having to fork out a monthly fee.
Starting from 18 February and continuing until the Easter weekend this will no longer be the case as TomTom is offering all of its new customers the LIVE service bundled free for 1 year when they purchase a TomTom XL LIVE or TomTom GO x50 series device. This equates to a saving of around £95.
The LIVE service works by giving you up to date real-time traffic information that changes as you drive and works by tracking the mobile phone signals of other TomTom motorists.
If you think you're in the market for a satnav we have full reviews of both the TomTom Go 950 and TomTom XL LIVE, so make sure you click through, where you'll be able to get the low down on the devices' features and what the LIVE service offers.
