Emporia has launched two new mobile phones at the Mobile World Congress event, both aimed, as are its other products, at those "who find new technology unnecessarily complicated".

The emporiaELEGANCE and emporiaSOLID boast easy-to-read OLED displays and big buttons. The ELEGANCE model is the the smooth, chrome-accented looker available in white, black and brown while the SOLID boasts robustness for suggested activities such as fishing, walking, gardening or cycling and can be used with gloves on.

The emporiaELEGANCE is due in Q2. The GSM handset has an extra-loud speaker, and offers text and talk abilities. The emporiaSOLID will be incoming in the third quarter and is also loud, with "dirt repellent" and water resistant properties.
