Spotify has rolled out an updated version of its Symbian client which adds support for a few more Nokia handsets. Specifically, you'll now be able to run the music streaming service on the Nokia X6, Nokia 6760 slide, Nokia 6700 slide, and Nokia E55.
Along with the added support, there's also been a complete rewrite of how text input is handled on touchscreen devices. The app will now cope fine with more unusual characters, and it should work with hardware QWERTY keyboards - which didn't previously function.
There's been a few text input optimisations, too, and seeking on non-touchscreen devices has been made faster. All-in-all, a useful update if you're an owner of one of these handsets. Now where's the BlackBerry, Windows Mobile, Maemo and webOS support, eh?
