Eco Crib for green parents

Mothercare goes green with baby crib

26 April 2006 0:17 GMT / By Stuart Miles

With Conservative leader David Cameron visiting glaciers, and the whole world becoming more and more eco conscience, Mothercare in the UK has launched the Eco Crib.

Green parents can now sleep that little bit easier knowing that if they choose this crib, it promises to be more environmentally friendly than most.

The £27 Eco Crib is made from recyclable heavy-duty cardboard with a funky print.

Better still, it breaks down flat, ideal when travelling and is surprising fire retardant.

However those hoping to get months out of the Eco Crib, might be disappointed that that its only suitable from birth to 3mths.
