Hopefully clearing the way for more exciting releases at Mobile World Congress, Samsung has announced the launch of Samsung "Monte", or S5620, a new full touchscreen device for the "style-conscious mobile user".
With a 3-inch WQVGA display, the Monte boasts a 3.2-megapixel camera, an accelerometer, GPS with Google Latitude and geo-tagging, Wi-Fi and offers Samsung's TouchWiz 2.0 user interface.
Social networking comes in with Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, Bebo as well as IM and there's also Exchange ActiveSync and Google Sync for email.
Claiming a "sleek, organic design with a sophisticated and glossy look", the Monte is due with an "affordable" price tag at some unspecified point in the future.
