Freesat has announced that it'll be broadcasting the 6 Nations rugby tournament in high definition starting from 6 February. It'll be found on the BBC HD channel, which can be accessed by grabbing a Freesat box or compatible TV.

The tournament, sponsored by the Royal Bank of Scotland, will run until 20 March and it'll take place at stadia in England, France, Ireland, Italy, Scotland and Wales - the countries taking part in the competition. The first match, at 2.30pm on 6 February, will be between Ireland and Italy, with England facing Wales 2.5 hours later.

Freesat will also be broadcasting the Winter Olympics, Golf Masters, Wimbledon, FA Cup, UEFA Champions League and the Football World Cup - all in HD.
