WEBSITE OF THE DAY – 6 Nations

Rugby's not just a bunch of men with funny shaped balls any more

5 February 2010 0:00 GMT / By Ian Hughes

The day that every egg chaser is waiting for arrives tomorrow. Super Saturday sees the 2010 RBS 6 Nations kick off and it’s set to be one of the most open tournaments in years.

Ireland will be keen to repeat the Grand Slam and the other home nations will be snapping at their heels. France, as ever, will be a force to be reckoned with and Italy are no longer the shoo-in for the wooden spoon.

This year, the official website has had something of a makeover. You wouldn’t necessarily think that rugby union would be a particularly tech-savvy sport, but this site is littered with useful stuff. There’s an RSS feed, video streaming, a Facebook page, downloadable fixture lists and even the tantalizing prospect of an iPhone app.

Bring it on.
