The Dad Blog gets new member of staff

Emily Miles joins the team as chief tester

Pocket-lint welcomes its newest member of staff to the dad blog - Emily Holly Miles.

The dad blog has now got its first official tester - my new daughter Emily.

Emily, who was born at 2.01pm on Friday 21 April has already smiled at the thought of helping The Dad Blog test out numerous gadgets and gizmos aimed at kids so dads can be in the know to impress their partners.

Her first piece of advice for dads is "don't worry if my ears come out wonky, due to the soft bone in my ears they are supposed to look like that. They will pop out to normal eventually".
