Nikon has announced the successor to the S220 with the launch of the new Coolpix S3000.
With slimline (19mm thick) dimensions, the S3000 packs in 12 megapixels, a wideangle 4x zoom NIKKOR lens and a 2.7-inch monitor.
Boasting four kinds of blur reduction and 16 shooting modes, the colourful compact is aimed at those looking "for a camera that's fun to use, chic and great value for money".
Features include Nikon's "Smart Portrait System", "Smile Timer", anti-blink functionality and red-eye reduction.
Available in seven colours - black, champagne silver, red, blue, orange, magenta and green - the S3000 will be on sale mid-March for £109.99.
