Roberts launches wind-up Wanderer radio

It could just be a wind up

Roberts, who have been making radios since 1932, has launched a wind-up radio in time for the summer months that lets you save energy, or merely just save on having to buy lots of batteries all the time.

According to the company, the "Wanderer" is a compact, hand-held, two band FM/MW portable radio with multi-power options.

Simply winding it up for 1 minute will give you 30 minutes listening time or you can use batteries or the AC adaptor.

Like the competing Eton radios, the "Wanderer" has a built-in lamp, an emergency buzzer and is also water resistant.

The "Wanderer" costs £35 and is available from all good stockists.
