New 2010 model debuts

Air Hogs, the radio controlled car that is able to stick to walls, is getting an update for 2010 in the guise of a new controller that promises to make it easier to control on the vertical.

The new models will use something its creators are calling "Laser Zero Gravity" that fires a laser beam on the wall for the car to follow.

Rather than managing a standard remote, the new gun shaped remote requires you to point the beam where you want to go and the car follows.

Expected to be available some time later this year the new car, as before, will be able to go on walls and the ground, however not seamlessly between the two.

For those interested, rather than magic, the technology works by creating a vortex on the wall thanks to a fan on the top of the car.

Oh, and it glows in the dark too.
