Jabra has dropped us word of a new Bluetooth headset that it'll soon be selling in Britain - the Jabra Extreme, or EXTREME if we're being typographically accurate. It's already available in the USA.
The device comes with a new version of Jabra's noise reduction technology, called Noise Blackout Extreme. No caps lock this time. The company reckons it's twice as good at filtering out background noise as before, employing dual microphones to more effectively tell which bits of the sound are talking about Eastenders, and which are the people walking past you talking about Coronation Street.
There's also improved eargels, the "Ultimate-fit Eagels", which will gently mould to your ear over time - making things a little comfortable for you, and meaning that your friends are less likely to be able to borrow your headset, getting their 'orrible wax all over it.
The Jabra Extreme's battery packs 5.5 hours of talk time, 10.5 days of standby time, or some combination of the two. It costs £60, and is available now.
