Retro Thing launches classic USB joystick

"I've got blisters on my fingers"

Retro Thing has worked with Legacy Engineering to create the Clear Classic USB Joystick, an Atari 2600-esque effort aimed at the PC and Mac market.

The joystick combines the classic style with transparent plastic and contains a blue LED that illuminates the stick from within "for a slick retro-futuristic look".

And for the really hardcore amongst you the company says: "DIYers will be happy to hear that the USB controller board can be removed from the case and used as a standalone control interface for a MAME arcade cabinet or homebuilt game controller".

The complete package will include the stick, numbered certificate of authenticity, USB cable and CD game collection including the Stella emulator and over 80 games.

Selling for $29.95 this should help you relive all those high-octane 8-bit gaming moments.
