Google announces Nexus One Desktop Dock

28 January 2010 15:01 GMT / By Amy-Mae Elliott

Google has announced that the Nexus One Desktop Dock is now available for purchase from the Google online store.

Said to be custom-designed for the Nexus One, Google says the dock offers a convenient place to charge your phone, on your desk or nightstand.

"As soon as you slip your phone into the desktop dock the Clock app opens, providing quick access to the local time and weather, alarm settings, photo slideshows, and your music. You can dim the Clock screen for nighttime use", says Google.

Complete with a charger and a 3.5mm-to-RCA audio cable, for connecting the dock to your stereo so you can listen to your phone's music on your stereo system, the dock is priced at $45.
