Rubik's Cube fans have been given yet another challenge with the announcement that the latest puzzle, Rubik's Slide, is on its way to a toy store near you shortly.

The latest puzzle offering will challenge even the brightest among you with over 10,000 brain busting puzzles according to the makers.

Based on the classic Rubik's Cube with a new twist, users will have to slide and twist the gadget to move a series of squares (nine in total) to match a pre-determined pattern shown at the start.

With a range of difficulty levels to master that introduce more and more tiles as you progress through the levels, the electronic element and complicated Rubik's Cube style approach is sure to have people either hooked for hours or binning it in frustration within minutes.

Due out later this year, expect it to cost around £25.
