MagicBox announces Nocturne XP-2

25 January 2010 13:34 GMT / By Amy-Mae Elliott

MagicBox has updated the Nocturne XP-1 with the launch of the new XP-2 adding Wi-Fi internet radio to the music system.

Offering the ability to listen to thousands of radio stations from around the world via the Internet, the Nocturne XP-2 will also play music files streamed from your PC over your home Wi-Fi network.

As far as non-internet radio goes, there's both FM and DAB with 30 presets to save fave stations while iPod hook-up is sorted via a "gliding" in and out dock, which will play and charge your iPod.

The radio offers "Touch Sensitive" tech on the control panel as well as a remote control and there's a six-line white on black display.

Functionality comes in with a dual alarm clock, with sleep and snooze functions, while the sound side of things shapes up with a 20-Watt sub woofer and two 7-Watt speakers.

Complete with dock adaptors to fit a variety of 'pods, the MagixBox Nocturne XP-2 goes on sale for a suggested price of £149.99.
