Ah, the National Television Awards. A glitzy ceremony that celebrates only the finest achievements on the small screen here in the UK. At least that’s what the press release said.

When the award for ‘best drama’ goes to Dr Who you know immediately that this isn’t Bafta we’re dealing with here.

And the entertainment between awards was something to see too. Here Jedward and Vanilla Ice get together to perform their new single.

I can’t comment. I really can’t. I’d get into trouble…
