Sharp has announced the launch of two new audio products hitting the shelves in 2010 with a shiny new iPod dock and a soundbar.
The DK-AP8P iPod dock is describe as "ultra-chic" and comes with a detachable touch control panel that doubles as a remote control. The dock can be mains- or battery-powered.
With a piano black laquer finish, it offers 2.1 SRS WOW sound with a built-in subwoofer and can play and charge all kinds of iPods and iPhones.
It can also be used for hands-free phone calls with the music stoping when a call is received on the iPhone and starts again automatically when the call is ended. There's also the option to connect it up to a TV for big screen viewing.
The HT-SB400 soundbar meanwhile, provides 3.1 channel sound in a slimline system that's said to be easy to install, wall mount or leave free standing. The soundbar also offers touch control, SRS WOW tech, four pre-set sound modes and a 32 Watt RMS output.
The DK-AP8P dock goes on sale this month for around £100 while the HT-SB400 will be available from John Lewis from February 2010 with a RRP of £180.
NB. The image above ain't broke - it's just ultra-chic.
