Samsung has joined Adidas and Philips in offering a fitness-themed MP3 player with the CES debut of the MyFit.

The Samsung MiCoach was a great idea, the trouble was when it launched it came with a phone built-in, not great if you've already got a phone.

Now, almost 2 years later, Samsung has decided to release the software offering within a dedicated MP3 player, without a phone, for people just wanting to listen to music while they jog.

The software will monitor your heart rate, offer support from a coaching point of view and even double up as pedometer.
