Ion iType for iPhone takes communcation back a few years

In one of the more bizarre moves you'll see at CES 2010, the iPhone has been given it's own full QWERTY keyboard. ION, of luxury USB drum kit fame, is showing off the ZX Spectrum meets Palm Foleo device which is essentially a desktop dock for the popular Apple mobile.

It's called the Ion iType, it's a prototype and there's something dangerously backward about the idea of it catching on. Still, it looks nicely made if nothing else.
