Toshiba has fully embraced Intel's offerings for 2010 with the launch of enough laptops to build an entire stand at CES.
There will be eight to choose from when they arrive in the coming weeks, each armed with Nvidia GPUs, 4GB of RAM and typically Toshiba chassis.
The luxury, 16-inch multimedia Satellite A505, the enormous screen, 18.4-inch Satellite P505, the business-minded Tecra A11 with LED screen and the Elite, BD-toting Qosmio X505 will each feature the quad core Intel Core i7 chips. They start from $770, $800, $880 and $1,200 respectively but that's before you've specced them up.
If you're happy to settle for the dual core Intel Core i5 then you'll find it mildly kinder on your funds if you seek out the 17.3-inch, Satellite L555, 15.6-inch Satellite L505 or the light-weight, mobile 13-inch Satellite U505. They're yours from $650, $450 and $650 again, and the baby of the bunch is the 14-inch Satellite M505 with LED backlit screen that starts at $700.
More details are available on the exact perms and comms for each.
