EA Sports to add own peripherals to gaming catalogue

8 January 2010 16:06 GMT / By Dan Sung

Games publisher EA Sports has signed an agreement to launch a range of peripheral controllers to work with its popular games on computers, consoles and mobile platforms everywhere.

Sakar International Inc. has been chosen to make fitness controllers for the Nintendo Wii and DSi and specifically the fitness peripherals to go with EA Sports Active.

Sunflex Europe is lined up to make some more technical creations with 20 already in the pipeline and A4T will make units to go with the iPod touch.

No time frame yet but expect the pitter patter of branded plastic soon.
